I am, in short, a lover of beauty, words, and kindness. These themes drive all my work.

 

Where can you find me?

On the weekends, I could be out on a nature walk; but if it is raining, I'll be in my backroom studio, painting a bouquet of flowers or a new illustration for my children's story. Most weekdays, I'll be in the classroom helping my students discover an author like Christina Rossetti or Emily Dickinson (surprisingly most have never read her!)

In the afternoons, I'll be at my trusty laptop crafting a new piece of prose or poetry (or editing one for you!). And most evenings, I'll simply settle into my comfortable chair with a mug of pecan-flavored coffee and a good book (or my journal.)
